This Week's Meetings in Pleasantville

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Each week there are public meetings within the Village of Pleasantville.  These meetings help residents stay informed about developments within the village and involved in the community. Here is some information about what meetings are scheduled to take place this week.

On Monday, the Pleasantville Board of Trustees will hold a work session followed by a regular meeting in Village Hall starting at 7 p.m.  The agenda for the meeting includes a discussion about crosswalks on Ashland Avenue and Marble Avenue, renovations at the ambulance corps building and day camp fees.  For more information or for a full agenda, visit the village website.

Tuesday, the Pleasantville Board of Education will meet in the library at Pleasantville High School.  The meeting is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. and the agenda includes a long term financial outlook report for the school district.  For a full agenda, visit the school district’s website. 

Wednesday morning, the Pleasantville Public Safety Committee will meet at 10 a.m. in Village Hall.  For agenda items, residents are instructed to contact Police Chief Richard Love at 914-769-1500.

Wednesday evening, the Pleasantville Planning Commission will meet at Village Hall at 8 p.m.  On the agenda for this meeting is a proposal to rebuild the Mavis Discount Tire building after fire damage.
