This Week's Meetings in Pleasantville

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Each week, there are important public meetings in the Village of Pleasantville. These meetings are great ways for residents to learn more about the town and stay informed with recent happenings. Here is a quick list of this week’s village meetings and events.

On Monday, the village Board of Trustees will hold a work session at Village Hall. The session will begin at 7 p.m. On the agenda for Monday night’s session will be a library board interview, farmer’s market update, review of parking fees and other items. The trustees will also hold a private executive session to discuss police personnel matters/contracts and PBA grievance. A full list of the agenda can be viewed at the village’s website.

Also on Monday night, the Pleasantville Beautification Committee will meet on the third floor of Village Hall at 8 p.m. For information on agenda items, residents should call Kathy Dinkel at 914-769-4036.

The Pleasantville Fund for Learning group will meet Monday night at the Pleasantville High School library at 7:30 p.m. Fund for Learning is a not-for-profit group that supports Pleasantville schools and programs.

On Tuesday, the Pleasantville Board of Education will hold a public work session at the Pleasantville High School Library. The session is set to begin at 7:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, the Pleasantville Public Safety Committee will meet at 10 a.m. at village hall. For more information on agenda items, residents should call Pleasantville Police Chief Richard Love at 914-769-1500.

Wednesday night, the Pleasantville Planning Commission will meet at village hall at 8 p.m. An agenda for this meeting has not yet been posted.

Pleasantville Village Hall will not be open on Friday in honor of Veteran’s Day.
