This Week in Pleasantville

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Each week, there are public meetings and events for residents in Pleasantville to attend.  These are great ways for the public to get involved in the community and stay informed with recent happenings. Here is a list of what is scheduled to take place this week.

On Monday, the Village Board of Trustees will hold its weekly work session and bi-monthly meeting.  Both will take place on the second floor of Village Hall.  The work session is set to begin at 7 p.m. with the regular meeting starting at 8 p.m. Some agenda items include entitling a part time constable, new parking prohibitions and a real estate discussion. On Tuesday, the Pleasantville International Association will meet at 7:30 p.m.  in room 326 of the Pleasantville High School.

Wednesday, the Pleasantville Public Safety Committee will meet at 10:30 a.m. on the second floor of Village Hall.  For agenda information, contact Police Chief Richard Love at 914-769-1500.

The Pleasantville Planning Commission will also meet Wednesday at Village Hall at 8 p.m.  On the agenda for this meeting is an expansion/modification to Prospero Winery and a new theater on Tompkins Avenue.

Thursday, the Pleasantville Conservation Advisory Council will meet at Village Hall at 8 p.m.  For agenda information, contact Helen Muerer at 914-769-1561.
