PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. Each week, there are public meetings and events within the Village of Pleasantville for residents to attend. These meetings and events are a way to stay informed about recent happenings and to also stay involved in the community. This week, there are multiple meetings taking place for the Pleasantville schools and municipalities. Here is a list of those scheduled to take place this week:
On Monday, the village board of trustees will hold its weekly work session in Village Hall at 7 p.m. On the agenda for this meeting includes 2013 budget planning, zoning code amendments and updates on water projects. This work session is open to the public and will be held in the courtroom held on the second floor.
Also on Monday, the villages beautification committee will meet at 7:30 p.m. on the third floor of Village Hall. For a list of agenda items, contact Kathy Dinkel at 914-769-4036.
Pleasantville Fund for Learning will meet Monday in the Pleasantville High School Library at 7:30 p.m. Fund for Learning is a not-for-profit organization that spreads awareness and provides support for all Pleasantville schools.
On Tuesday, the Pleasantville Board of Education will meet in the Pleasantville High School Library at 7:30 p.m. On the agenda includes updates on both Bedford Road School and the Pleasantville Middle School.
The Pleasantville Parks & Recreation Advisory Board will meet Tuesday on the third floor of Village Hall at 8 p.m. For agenda information, residents should contact Linda Bellofatto at 914-769-7950.
Wednesday, the Pleasantville High School freshman parents will hold a morning coffee session in the high schools guidance suite.
The Pleasantville Community Scholarship Fund Committee will meet Wednesday at 7 p.m. in room 324 of Pleasantville High School.
On Thursday at 7:30 p.m., the Pleasantville Middle School fifth grade students will hold their annual winter concert in the Pleasantville High School auditorium.
