PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. ‒ Holy Innocents Parish is offering a reward for help finding the persons responsible for knocking over and damaging 29 headstones at All Souls Cemetery last week.

Parish Coordinator Eileen Bruehl confirmed there will a $1,000 reward for any tip leading to an "arrest and conviction” in the felony criminal mischief case. She is hoping anyone with knowledge will come forward and share what they know with the Pleasantville Police Department.

Police said the headstones were discovered last Thursday morning by a Holy Innocents parishioner. Drinking may have played a role, police said, as eight 24-ounce Rolling Rock cans and two 24-ounce Miller High Life cans were found at the scene. Police also found a carton of Lucky Strike cigarettes and empty coffee cups.

Tips should be reported to Pleasantville police in person at 80 Wheeler Ave. or at 914-769-1500.
