Today around 4 a.m. Ross Pattinson of Pleasantville was awakened by the sound of breaking glass and when he got to his living room at 62 Pleasantville Road found a red Ford Mustang had crashed into his house.
"We heard a crash and by the time we got up and outside, the police were already on the scene," Pattinson said. "We didn't even see the suspect."
There were no injuries in the crash and the accident is still under investigation by the Pleasantville Police Department. The man who crashed into the home this morning is under arrest but the police declined to release his name until the investigation is complete.
The startled homeowner is going through his insurance company to cover repair costs. Please check back for updates on this story.
