  • The Toll Brothers’ 68-townhouse project on Washington Avenue in Pleasantville received final approval from the Planning Commission on Wednesday, Dec. 10, after nearly two years of review by the village, The Examiner reports.
  • A New York State Amber Alert has been issued for a 5-year-old boy who officials believe was abducted from his home near Albany by two men Thursday afternoon. Police agencies throughout the state have also been put on alert.
  • State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in finding three missing residents of the Berkshire Farm Center for Youth in Canaan who may be heading to the Westchester/Putnam area.
  • Banks, gas stations and convenience stores were struck by a flurry of armed robberies this fall in Westchester and Putnam counties.
