Pleasantville Strong Forum Focuses On Drug Trends

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Pleasantville Strong will host a forum for parents Wednesday, "Hidden in Plain Sight: What Parents Should Know About Current Drug Trends," at the Mount Pleasant Public Library.

The event, from 7-9 p.m., will feature Judy Mezey, assistant director for Community Based programs at Student Assistant Services, who will share information on current trends in youth drug use, including items associated with those trends that parents might overlook. 

Beverly Pierce, program administrator/supervisor at SAS, will also present a parenting tips presentation. In addition, Pleasantville law enforcement personnel will be on hand to talk about current trends that they are seeing among youths. All residents are welcome. 

The Mount Pleasant Library is at 350 Bedford Road.
