Pleasantville Resident Participates In Bob's Discount Furniture Golf Outing

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Wayde Bendes, of Pleasantville, participated in the 28th annual Bob's Discount Furniture golf outing July 21, which raised more than $452,000 for children's charities.

More than 250 golfers participated in the charity event at the Tunxis Plantation Country Club. Proceeds will benefit children's charities such as Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters, Family & Children’s Aid, Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and Camp Rising Sun, a camp for more than 120 children battling cancer.
