PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. If you're looking for a fun day in the sun this Labor Day weekend, the Pleasantville Village Pool will not be the place to be. The pool has been closed due to a loss of power following the storms of tropical storm Irene.
The Pleasantville Recreation Department said that the pool will be closed until further notice while they wait for Con Edison to arrive to repair electrical and mechanical issues. There has been no timetable set for when it will reopen.
