PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The Pleasantville Planning Commission has approved plans to raze a former fast-food restaurant and erect a mixed-use building in its place, according to a report by The Examiner News.
Owner Damiano Barile Engineers P.C. wants to build a two-story structure on the Marble Avenue site with retail space on the first floor and offices above, The Examiner News reported.
The building to be torn down once housed a Pizza Hut, but if the developers want to include another fast-food joint, they may have to seek additional variances, village officials told The Examiner News.
