MTA Discusses Train Safety At Mount Pleasant Library

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The MTA is bringing a train safety program for young kids to the Mount Pleasant Library on Wednesday, Aug. 10.

MTA personnel will present TRACKS -- Together Railroads and Communities Keeping Safe -- an outreach program on railway safety, for kids going into kindergarten through third grade.

Topics will include grade crossing, rider safety and trespassing.

The program is from 1-2 p.m., and it's designed through a partnership between Metro-North Railroad and the MTA Police Department.
