Jewelry Reported Stolen From Pleasantville Home

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – A Pleasantville resident reported to police that nearly $10,000 in jewelry was stolen from his Marble Avenue home. According to the police report, the resident said an unknown person entered his home between May 1 and May 3 and stole a black jewelry box.

The box reportedly contained an $8,500 diamond wedding band, a $300 gold chain, a $300 gold watch and $200 gold earrings. Also reported stolen was a change jar containing approximately $400.

Car Damage: Pleasantville Police responded to Memorial Plaza at 12:18 a.m. on Sunday on reports of a damaged car. A resident reportedly told police that he parked his 2007 black Honda in the lot behind the post office around 11 p.m. on Saturday and when he returned an hour later his windshield was cracked.
