PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. Pleasantville residents will have the chance to enjoy some live Halloween fun at the Little Village Playhouses Haunted Improv Night Friday night.
The event is open to all community members and residents and will feature live improv from the Little Village Playhouses Improv Troupe. Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in improv games and sketches of their own. Halloween costumes are encouraged for the nights attire.
A suggested donation of $15 is asked of each guest and all donations given will support the Little Village Playhouse and its theater programs and events they put together. The Little Village Playhouse is a not-for-profit youth theater company that has been based in Pleasantville since 1997.
Recently, the Little Village Playhouse has developed a plan to expand its company to include professional and community theater along with its current youth program. The Haunted Improv Night is just one of many fundraising efforts the company will hold over the following months for that cause.
The event is set to begin at 7 p.m. and will be held at the Playhouses location at 42 Marble Ave. For more information, contact Lauren Comadeco at lauren@littlevillageplayhouse.com.
