PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson members will soon be selling cookies online for the first time in the organization’s history.
When the next Girl Scout Cookie Program launches on Feb. 27, 2015, 46,000 Heart of the Hudson children and adult members will be able to direct customers to a brand new national Digital Cookie platform, according to a press release.
“Through Digital Cookie, we are bringing the Girl Scout Cookie Program fully into the 21st century,” said Pamela I. Anderson, chief executive officer of Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson, in a press release.
“Digital Cookie lets us continue our proud tradition of teaching today’s girls the skills of tomorrow, while remaining true to the core principles of the Girl Scout mission and the values taught by our iconic cookie program. So join us this cookie season in making Girl Scout history!”
