  • John Nonna, a long time resident and former Pleasantville mayor, turned 66. Nonna, a fencer who competed in the individual and team foil events at the 1972 Summer Olympics, later became an attorney specializing in insurance law, mayor of Pleasantville and a member of the Westchester County Board of Legislators, was born July 8, 1948 .
  • Four Westchester County residents were named to the Dean's List for the spring 2014 semester at Salve Regina University in Newport, R.I .
