Community Rallies Around Family Of Westchester Man Stabbed On Taconic

A GoFundMe Page has been launched for the family of Daniel Siino, a 28-year-old Hartsdale resident who was fatally stabbed on May 27 on the Taconic Parkway during a road rage incident.

Christian Walczyk, a 21-year-old Dutchess County resident, has been charged with manslaughter after police say he stabbed Siino in the chest on the Taconic State Parkway in Mount Pleasant.

After being stabbed, Siino returned to his vehicle and his passenger began driving him to the hospital while contacting 911, police said. EMS and state troopers subsequently located and rendered aid to Siino before he was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to police.
