STAMFORD, Conn. – Croton resident Gary Cohen, a producer for Stamford, Conn.-based Triple Threat TV, will see the company's documentary film "Right to Play" premier on air Saturday on ABC-TV at 4 p.m. as the centerpiece for ESPN Sports Saturday.
"While we've made many films before, "Right to Play" showcases the work of Johann Koss, an amazing man and the remarkable organization he runs," Cohen said. "We've spent more than three years making this film and it recently won the Audience Award at the Mountain Film Festival in Telluride (Film Festival), selling out all three shows, one of which was added "due to popular demand." "Right to Play" is the story of Norwegian speed skater and humanitarian Johann Olav Koss, a triple gold medal winner at the 1994 Winter Olympics held in his home nation in Lillehammer, Norway. After winning the three gold medals, Koss announced at his triumphant press conference that he was donating his entire cash bonus to help poor children in Africa. Today, Koss runs Right to Play International, a $30 million-a-year global charity that gives children in the world’s most desperate places the chance to learn through play.
Triple Threat TV specializes in non-fiction entertainment, long-form documentaries, news, talk, sports and reality programs. The company has also produced "The Real Rocky" – a film about New Jersey boxer Chuck Wepner, who fought Muhammad Ali and was the real-life inspiration for the film character Rocky Balboa – and "Catching Hell," which explores sports scapegoats.

Is June 2 at 4 pm the right air date? I wanted to set the DVR and "Right to Play" doesn't show up. ABC at 4pm is showing ESPN Sports Saturday.
