Pleasantville PD Charges Chappaqua Man in Larceny

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The Pleasantville Police Department arrested a 46-year-old Chappaqua man at South Greely Avenue on Jan. 27 on misdemeanor larceny charges. The man allegedly entered into an agreement to buy a guitar from a Pleasantville resident for $5,000. The guitar was allegedly exchanged, however, no money was provided. Pleasantville police declined to provide the suspects name.

Driving with a suspended license: A 22-year-old Pleasantville man was arrested for driving with a suspended license after a routine traffic stop on Manville Road on Jan. 26. 

Stolen Bike: A Pleasantville resident reported that their bicycle was stolen while it was left unattended on Marble Avenue shortly before 2 p.m. on Jan. 28. No arrest has been made. 

The Pleasantville Police Department responded to a total of 62 calls from Jan. 25 to Feb. 1.
