The Marino family said their 10-year-old Cane Corso/Italian Mastiff has been missing since about 6 p.m. on Monday. He was last seen near Old Farm Road and Bear Ridge Road in Pleasantville.

They ask anyone who may have seen Dante to call them at (914) 318-4038, or contact Daily Voice.

Arthur Marino told Daily Voice on Tuesday that the family got Dante when his wife, Natalie, was pregnant with their now 9-year-old daughter, Valentina.

"He's a gentle giant,'' Marino said. "Dante and my daughter were very attached. They were raised together."

There have been no sightings, Marino said, but the family has received a ton of support from neighbors helping search for their beloved 120-pound dog.

"He loves being with the family," Natalie Marino said.
