Pace Hosts Basketball Game To Support Sandy Relief

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Harlem Magic Masters will play a team of Police and Fire All-Stars in a basketball game for Hurricane Sandy Relief on Saturday, March 23 at Pace University.

Tip-off is at 7 p.m. at the Goldstein Athletic Center. Proceeds will support first responders who suffered catastrophic loss in Hurricane Sandy.

Money from the game will be distributed to the New York Police Disaster Relief Fund and the Graybeards Organization, an organization comprised of both active and retired police and firemen located primarily in the Breezy Point and Far Rockaway area.

Members of police and fire departments from Archville, Briarcliff, Chappaqua, Croton, Irvington, Ossining, Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown will play in the game. DJCATCH1 will provide music, and Main Street Sweets will provide refreshments.

Tickets are $15  and can be purchased the night of the event or in advance at Weldon’s Stationer’s in Briarcliff Manor and Try and Buy and The Village Bookstore in Pleasantville.
