What's Open,Closed On Presidents Day In Pleasantville

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - On this Presidents Day, many key places around Pleasantville will be closed in observance of the holiday.

Pleasantville Village Hall will be closed all day on Monday. The Police Department Headquarters on the bottom floor of the building will be open. 

All schools in the Pleasantville School District will be closed on Monday and for the remainder of the week for winter recess. School will reopen on Feb. 25.

The Mount Pleasant Public Library in Pleasantville and the branch location in Valhalla will be closed all day on Monday. Books that are due should be dropped off in the chute located near the front door of the building.

All post offices will be closed Monday and Homeh mail delivery by the U.S. Postal Service will also be suspended until Tuesday.

Metro-North Commuter will operate on a Saturday schedule. Hudson Rail Link, the Newburgh-Beacon Ferry and the Haverstraw-Ossining Ferry, will not operate, according to the Metro-North website.
