Thanksgiving Restaurant Options Abound In Northern Westchester

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Northern Westchester residents have numerous options if they want to enjoy a stress-free Thanksgiving by dining out.

Thyme Steak and Seafood, 3605 Crompond Road, Yorktown, is offering a three-course prix fixe brunch and dinner. A majority of the dishes will be gluten free. Owner and Executive Chef Tom Costello suffers from celiac disease.

Offerings include butternut squash soup, gluten-free crab cakes and a Thanksgiving dinner of braised short ribs served atop polenta and melted onions. 

Goldfish in Ossining, 6 Rockledge Ave., will be offering guests a traditional Thanksgiving meal as part of its three-course menu.

"It's been our number-one seller," said Mike Casarella, owner of The Goldfish. "People like to have their traditional turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes. We are thankful to have such loyal clients that have been supporting us all these years."

Appetizers include seafood cocktail and crab cake. Entrees include swordfish and filet mignion. 

Division Street Grill in Peekskill has its own Thanksgiving menu from 1-6 p.m. The three-course prix fixe meal includes pumpkin ravioli, beef wellington and roast loin of pork. Dessert offerings include cheesecake and creme brulee. 

In Cortlandt, Cortlandt Colonial Restaurant, 714 Albany Post Road is open from noon to 6:30 p.m. and offers prime rib, filet of sole and a traditional turkey dinner.

The Iron Horse Grille in Pleasantville, 20 Wheeler Ave., has a three-course prix fixe menu that includes squash bisque, rib eye steak, king salmon and local goat cheesecake for dessert. 

Hudson at the Haymount, 20 Studio Hill Road in Briarcliff, will offer a three -course meal that includes holiday salad, a traditional turkey dinner, salmon and maple bread pudding.
