Saw Mill Club Hosts Usta Intersectional Competition

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- Saw Mill Club recently hosted the prestigious USTA Intersectional Bruneau and Mid Atlantic Coast Cups, an annual event played between Eastern, Mid Atlantic, New England and Middle States.

The Eastern team was comprised of six staff and members from the Saw Mill Club including Kevin Kane, Bob Bull, Charles Lacy-Thompson, Todd Gordon, Gregg Finn and Boris Serebro. Tennis Director and Eastern Team Captain Bob Bull led the team to a second place finish behind Mid Atlantic, who won the event.

“We were honored to host this event at Saw Mill Club and have so many International and National ranked players gracing our courts,” said Bob Bull.

In the Bruneau Cup, the Eastern States beat Middle States 5-3, while in the Mid Atlantic Coast Cup, Mid Atlantic finished first, Eastern came in second, New England came in third and Middle States finished fourth.
