NBC To Film Pilot "The Blacklist" In Pleasantville Saturday

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - Pleasantville will get a little taste of Hollywood on Saturday when NBC films scenes for the pilot of "The Blacklist" throughout the village, according to Village Administrator Patti Dwyer.

Film crews will be setting up in the area of Washington Avenue and Manville Road on Friday evening. The filming will take place on Saturday morning into the afternoon and should be completed by 2 p.m. Dwyer said that no road closures should occur but on street parking may be limited in the area of Washington and Manville during the filming.

"The Blacklist" is a new pilot drama starring James Spader as master spy and criminal Raymond "Red" Reddington, according to The Huffington Post. According to published reports, the story follows Reddington as he agrees to give himself up to the FBI on the condition that he works with a rookie agent, played by Megan Boone.
