What's Happening This Weekend in Pleasantville

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – From toddler time to a wine tasting, here are some events happening this weekend around Pleasantville.

Friday

-Toddler Time, Mount Pleasant Public Library, 10 a.m. Toddler story time at the Mount Pleasant Public Library is a time for parents to bring their young children for a free, interactive story time.  The session encourages children to better understand and learn from reading. 

-Insider’s Tour, Stone Barns Center, 11 a.m. The Insider’s Tour at the Stone Barns Center in Pocantico Hills takes visitors on a behind-the-scenes look at the many different aspects of the center, including the gardens, livestock areas and greenhouses. Price of admission is $15 for adults and $9 for children.

Saturday

-Complimentary wine tasting, Prospero Winery, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Free complimentary wine tasting at Pleasantville Prospero Winery.  Enjoy some chicken skewers that are paired with a 2009 Zinfandel. 

-Hands on egg collecting, Stone Barns Center, 12 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. Get a first-hand experience to life of a farmer as you learn about life on a farm and contribute to egg collecting. Price of admission is $7 and closed-toe shoes is a requirement.

Sunday

-Easter egg hunt, Pleasantville Presbyterian Church, 10 a.m. A special Easter service at the Pleasantville Presbyterian Church will be followed by an Easter egg hunt for children on the church’s grounds.

-Easter Sunday brunch, Unique Affairs Catering, 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy an Easter Sunday brunch at Unique Affairs Catering on Nannahagan Road.  Traditional breakfast and lunch items will be served.  Admission is $34.95 per person, half price for any child under the age of 12.
