Tweens, Teens Can Read For Prizes At Mount Pleasant Library

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The Mount Pleasant Public Library is launching a Young Adult Summer Reading Program for students in grades 5 - 12.

Participants in the program read what they want (novels, graphic novels, nonfiction, eBooks, audiobooks, short stories), log their minutes reading and complete online challenges.

The all-online program will run from Monday, June 27 through Friday, Aug. 12.

Random prizes are awarded all summer long. Participants should log in to find out if they've won.

In addition, prizes will be awarded to the biggest readers: Prize No. 1 is a Kindle Fire Tablet; prize No. 2 is a gamer bundle (Mincecraft & Game themes); and prize No. 3 is a tote bag filled with books and a gift card.

Winners will be announced Monday, Aug. 15, by email.
