The Race Is On At Mount Pleasant Library

MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. -- Registration is now open for the summer reading program at the Main and Branch libraries of the Mount Pleasant Public Library.

Students in grades K-6 are invited to join the competition to read, win prizes and attend "exciting programs."

The six-week event is set to begin on Monday, June 27. Kickoff events are scheduled for 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Friday, June 24, according to organizers, who reported that The Sciencetellers will be on hand to read "Race Against Time" to the crowd.

Registration can be completed online or in person at the Main Library (350 Bedford Road, Pleasantville), or the Branch Library (125 Lozza Drive, Valhalla).
