First presented at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, “Smelly Feet” was hailed as “…a happy go lucky family show.” With Friedman classics like “I’m Somebody Too,” “Bubble Bubble Bubble” and “Please, Please, Please, Don’t Tease The Bees,” will follow the adventures of Danny, Pete and Sally.
Westchester-based recording artist Dean Friedman, known for chart-topping hits like “Ariel,” “Lucky Stars,” “Lydia,” and “McDonald’s Girl,” explains why he went from entertaining adults to writing shows for kids.
“Kids are a perfect audience,” says Friedman. “They have no preconceptions. At the same time, their attention span is about two seconds long, so you have to retain total focus to keep their attention and work a bit harder. But it’s always worth the extra effort. ”
