Pleasantville's Rosenthal JCC Hosts Spring Chorale Concert

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Rosenthal JCC of Northern Westchester will host Kol Rinah Chorale's Spring Concert on Sunday, June 19, in Pleasantville.

Kol Rinah will present a themed set of music based on Bible references in African-American spirituals. The chorale will also sing a few paired musical selections – two songs with the same text with different composers, two songs by the same composer with different texts, and more.

The concert will be directed by Benjamin Gruder, artistic director and conductor of Kol Rinah. Connie Prener -- pianist, chamber organist and harpsichordist -- will serve as accompanist.
