Performances will be Fridays through Sundays, March 20-22 and March 27-29.

Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 p.m.; the Sunday, March 22, performance is at 7 p.m.; and the Sunday, March 29, performance will be held at 2 p.m.

"The Light In The Piazza" is directed and designed by Ann Shankman, who has directed three previous musicals for the Community Stage at Arc Stages.

“We have assembled the best cast of singers we could find in Westchester and the surrounding areas to perform this beautiful score,” said Shankman.

The cast includes Arc Stages veterans Daniele Hager ("Into The Woods"), Mario Castro ("Assassins"), Jeff Stone ("Into The Woods") and Jeff Raab ("Assassins"), who is also an alumnus of the Educational Stage at Arc Stages, formerly known as Little Village Playhouse.

"The Light In The Piazza" is the story of an American mother and daughter who travel to Florence on vacation and discover life-changing love. With book by playwright Craig Lucas and lush, critically acclaimed music and lyrics by Adam Guettel, "The Light In The Piazza" was voted Best Musical of 2005.

The show also won the Tony Award for best book of a musical, and propelled the career of Victoria Clark, who won the year’s Best Actress award. Broadway veteran Kelli O’Hara was nominated as Featured Actress and went on to take Broadway by storm in "South Pacific" and "The Bridges of Madison County," among other shows.

The musical is based on the 1962 cult favorite movie "Light In The Piazza," which starred Olivia de Havilland, Yvette Mimieux and Rossano Brazzi.
