PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Pleasantville Sing-Along and Tree Lighting Ceremony Wednesday night, at the intersection of Great Oak Lane and Manville Road, drew what’s believed to be its largest crowd ever, an estimated 300 holiday merrymakers.

The event was co-sponsored by Pace University, Fancher American Legion Post 77, and the Pleasantville Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Village's Parks and Recreation Department and PCTV.

Pleasantville Middle School music teacher Dorian Nuccio directed singing performances by students. Pace staffers handed out free cupcakes, basketball tickets, and other giveaways, and Pace mascot T-Bone posed for photos with fans.
