Pleasantville Strong Aims To Save A Life

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Pleasantville STRONG aims to help save a life with free training on using Naloxone to aid in an opioid overdose at the Mount Pleasant Public Library on Jan 20.

The public training session will focus on how to use the nasal spray Naloxone (Narcan) to restore breathing to an individual whose respiration has been dangerously slowed due to an overdose on heroin or prescription pain killers.

 Participants will receive a free Narcan kit. Register online at http://health.westchestergov.com/narcan. The event begins at 7 p.m.
