Pleasantville Music Festival Has 15 Bands

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Parkway Field will host the 12th Annual Pleasantville Music Festival on Saturday, July 9.

Fifteen local and national bands will take three stages to provide nine hours of music. Pleasantville-based Back 2 Zero will kickoff the Party Line Chill Tent Stage at noon, followed by Don Dilego, an acoustic set by KT Tunstall, Mount Kisco native Drew Bordeaux, the Yorktown and Verplank sons that comprise Side Saddle, and the folk-rock duo, Aztec Two-Step. 

The Amanda Ayala Band will open The Capitol Theatre Party Stage at noon. Rainbow Kitten Surprise and Wild Adriatic will play multiple sets throughout the afternoon. Morning Joe Music, featuring Joe Scarborough will take the stage at 7:10 p.m. 

Ossining residents Indigo King open the Tri-State Ford Main Stage at 12:25 p.m. followed by the driving rock of the Annie Minogue Band. 

At 2:55 p.m. New Jersey’s own The Smithereens will entertain. 

The Revivalists take the stage at 4:30 p.m. featuring Pleasantville local Zack Feinberg. 

At 6:05 p.m., KT Tunstall takes the Main Stage with her entire band for a second appearance at the festival. 

Guster will be the final act to take the stage at 8 p.m. 

The festival also features a Kid Zone with rides and amusements as well as a Captain Lawrence Beer Garden with food from Walter’s Hot Dogs, George’s Souvlaki. Food will also be available at Vendor Village, featuring Abas Falafel, Break Bread Not Hearts, Cold Stone Creamery, The Great American BBQ Co., Linekins Kettle Corn, Little Mumbai, Pizza a Legna, Rita’s Water Ice and Sundance Deli. 

Each tent will have separate bins for recycling, compostables, and trash, and will have volunteers collecting and sorting at each station. Organizers asks that festival-goers not mix trash and recyclables in one bag. Each recycling station also offers free water—festival-goers can bring their reusable containers to be filled as needed throughout the day. 

Tickets are available at Pleasantville Recreation office, 48 Marble Ave. or via Ticketmaster or on July 9 at the entry gate.
