Pleasantville Hosts Community Clean-Up This Saturday

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The Pleasantville Parks Department wants you to help give the village a good spring cleaning.

The department is hosting a Community Volunteer Clean-Up Day on Saturday morning.

"Please join your Park Department’s efforts to “clean and green” downtown Pleasantville this weekend," the department said on the village website.

Volunteers will meet at the Memorial Plaza gazebo at 9 a.m. for assignments and gear. The clean-up will end at noon

Volunteers should dress appropriately, with light-colored jackets or T-shirts with closed-toed shoes. Organizers say volunteers shouldn't wear shorts or sandals.

Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
