Pleasantville Fire Department Hosts Firefighter's Parade Friday

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – More than 25 fire departments will participate in the Pleasantville Fire Department's annual firefighter's parade on Friday, including a special contingent from the Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company in Connecticut.

The parade begins at 7 p.m. at the intersection of Bedford Road and Romer Avenue, continuing down Bedford to Memorial Plaza to Manville Road, Grove Street and Edgewood Avenue. The parade ends at the Washington Avenue firehouse.

Pleasantville firefighters are encouraging residents to come and honor the Sandy Hook first responders for their work in the Sandy Hook School shooting last December.

The parade begins at 7 p.m. at the intersection of Bedford Road and Romer Avenue, continuing down Bedford to Memorial Plaza to Manville Road, Grove Street and Edgewood Avenue. The parade ends at the Washington Avenue firehouse.

There is no rain date.
