The blood drive will take place at the Pleasantville Firehouse, 75 Washington Ave., from 2:30-8:30 p.m.
Blood donations fall off dramatically during the summer when vacations and travel occupy more of everyone’s time. The need for blood, however, actually increases due to summer-related activities, and all reserve supplies become depleted. This could be catastrophic in the event of a disaster or major storm.
Since it is also difficult to organize community drives during the summer, blood donors from all towns are welcome to come to lend their help.

Although it is helpful to let the organizers know in advance that you plan to come, walk-ins are always accepted.
