PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Pleasantville-based nonprofit Hope’s Door held its Annual Fall Luncheon at the Renaissance Westchester Hotel in White Plains during National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
With the theme “Broadway Matinee,” the charitable organization put a spotlight on domestic violence while bringing together the glamour of Broadway.
Family attorney and advocate Alayne Katz shared her own story of domestic violence. She is well-known throughout the county as a dedicated lawyer who represents clients in all areas of family law.
Tony-nominated and Emmy Award-winning actress Liz Calloway and conductor and musical director Susan Anderson performed during the event.
