Local Weightlifters To Compete At Athletes Warehouse In Pleasantville

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Athletes Warehouse is hosting an Olympic weightlifting meet from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 14.

Jack Gladstone, 21, of Chappaqua, a graduate of Greeley High School, will compete in Utah this September in the 2015 National University Championships.

Ryan Kozersky, 16, of Mount Kisco, and a rising senior at Fox Lane High School, will compete this June at the 2015 USA Youth Weightlifting Nationals in Minnesota.

This competition will prepare both athletes for their respective championships, according to a press release. Both athletes train at Athletes Warehouse and two of their coaches, Nick Serio and Cassie Reilly-Boccia, also will be competing in the event.

Between 30-40 lifters from across Westchester and nearby counties will be attending the meet, according to a press release.

Admission is free. Food and drinks will be available for sale.

Athletes Warehouse is at 220 Tompkins Ave., Pleasantville.
