Daniel Shea landed on the sidewalk after the 2011 Ford Fusion driver cut him off and his 2005 Suzuki 650 collided with it just after 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of West Midland Avenue and Green Valley Road, Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

The Fusion then slammed head-on into a 2005 Toyota Highlander stopped at a Green Valley Road stop sign.

The sedan driver, John Pavloski, was taken to the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood with hand and arm injuries and issued a summons for failing to yield the right of way at an intersection.

The SUV driver wasn’t injured.

Paramus police were investigating, with assistance from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Fatal Accident Investigation Unit.
