The next shows in the series will be "Salvador Dali: Tragicomic Genius" and "Picasso's Gang." The Jacob Burns Film Center is at 364 Manville Road in Pleasantville.

"Salvador Dali: Tragicomic Genius" starts at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 28

"Who was the real Salvador Dalí? A bold genius challenging social conventions or a tireless self-promoter deftly manipulating his image and message? This definitive documentary, filled with actual footage of a man only slightly more famous for his surrealist art than for his bizarre behavior, puts Dalí’s life and work on extravagant display," representatives said.

"Picasso's Gang" begins at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 29.

"In 1911, the Mona Lisa was ripped from the walls of the Louvre, to the shock of the French nation. Who could have perpetrated such a crime? The authorities swiftly turned their sights on the poet Apollinaire and his friend Pablo Picasso, whose "Demoiselles d’Avignon" bore a strange resemblance to some ancient heads also stolen from the museum. This lavish drama beautifully recreates Picasso’s circle, from artists and lovers to patrons like Gertrude Stein and Alice B. Toklas," representatives said.
