Children Can Dig Into The Past At Pleasantville Rec Center

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- If your child likes archaeology, the Pleasantville Recreation Center has a perfect activity.

"Egyptian Dig" is a winter recess program at the Pleasantville Recreation Center.

The winter recess program, "Egyptian Dig," is for children six to 11 years old. It features an actual dig to find "ancient" artifacts such as a scarab and hieroglyphic tablet.

It all happens on Friday, Dec. 27 and Monday, Dec. 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The fee is $155. Make sure to bring a lunch.
