The magazine has named the Westchester Table Tennis Center as the best “rainy day activity,” saying the Pleasantville center is “about the same price as going to the movies, but you can stay all day, and it’s a better workout.”

TapeMeasure was named the best new upholstery shop.

“Real Old World craftsmanship and a fabulous new fabrics collection—sumptuous velvets, ultra-soft mohairs, fine Belgian linens, and woven prints by Lee Jofa, Zoffany, Designers Guild, and the like—combine to beautiful effect here,” the magazine wrote.

Rounding out Pleasantville's presence is Sal's Pizza & Pasta, which earned the “pasta perfection” title. The magazine says Sal's “mouthwatering, perfectly al dente fettuccine” is a dish of which any Italian grandmother would be jealous.
